My new kiddie project is advancing. I have the whole story written, but I still haven’t settled on a title. I’m hoping one will fall from the sky and conk me on the nogging!
(Seriously, I’ve got my subconscious working diligently on it while I move about in the conscious world. You may think I’m joking, but a lot of this novel writing and children’s book illustrations are because I ‘tell’ my subconscious to work on X,Y, and Z before nodding off. Crazy – but sometimes, it works.)
Here are a couple more illustrations on the Untitled Story that I’m working on. Hope you like them.
So, in this story, they pass by the dog park and walk down the road. They spy a junkyard.
Okay, we can’t let those kids go off and play in a junkyard. Not safe. So, after they eyeball one Rad Rat, they keep walking.
I don’t know about you, but I would, too.
“Come with me,” said Jack, the farmer.
Down the road, just a little farther.
(We have to have a hero to provide these kids with somewhere safe to play. Here is Farmer Jack whose hat has a tractor on it that we could all probably do a lot of damage to a field with!)
